In the heart of Poitou-Charentes, less than 15 minutes from Poitiers, within a 35-hectare park, stands the proud silhouette of the Château de Périgny, a witness to a large part of French history. This magnificent 16th-century château welcomes you for your baptisms, communions, confirmations, and more.

For a day or a weekend, enjoy an exceptional setting to celebrate your baptism or communion reception at the Périgny site.

For your loved ones who wish to stay on-site, we offer comfortably furnished, spacious, and characterful rooms. We can accommodate up to 100 people in 42 hotel rooms and one gîte, tastefully and lovingly restored. Standard, Comfort, Superior, Standard or Superior Family Suites, Junior Suites, and Terrace Rooms... all apartments and suites feature high ceilings and traditional decor with antique furnishings.

For cocktail parties or meals for up to 280 guests, the venue offers seven private rooms.

To assist you with your reception, we offer a selection of menus created with our Chef Jérémy Moricet, with perfect food and wine pairings.

You are free to choose your service provider for floral and room decorations, musical ambiance, and photographer, but we can also recommend contacting our partners.

Baptism Entertainment and Activities for Your Guests

To create a great atmosphere at your receptions, it's essential to include entertainment and activities. Often, not everyone in attendance necessarily knows each other. Games are an excellent way to get to know each other and, above all, to have a good time. At Château de Périgny, everything is designed to ensure you share unique and memorable moments together.

After a delicious meal, enjoy our swimming pool: a relaxation area much appreciated by adults and children alike, a place of conviviality in all circumstances, regardless of age. Children will enjoy the joys of swimming, while those who are not so inclined can relax on one of the deckchairs located around the pool.

The Château de Périgny also offers free access to games for relaxing and bonding: billiards, table football, ping pong or darts, tennis lessons, and pétanque.

For a more retro feel, shuffleboard and toss-up games are back and increasingly popular for festivities.
